Strawberry Fields: Ethiopia Misty Valley
Transport yourself to fragrant gardens with Strawberry Fields’s notes of jasmine and black tea. Lucious strawberry notes make this sophisticated coffee a real treat to drink! Originating from Ethiopia, this coffee exhibits the unmistakable superlative qualities associated with the region. Known for its berry-like flavor profile, Strawberry Fields highlights the sometimes-overlooked floral qualities of what many consider to be the best coffee in the world.
It's not just the natural fruity attributes that make this a superb coffee, but rather its combination with the toasty nuttiness of the black tea notes. Try this coffee with your favorite breakfast indulgence. We recommend brewing this as pour over and espresso, but it translates well to any method – even iced!
All the charming flavors found in Strawberry Fields can be accredited to the singular farm on which it was grown: the Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm. Established in 2012, Kayon sits in the Guji zone of Ethiopia’s Oromia region. Located 1900 – 2200 meters above sea level, the farm is lovingly referred to as “Misty Valley.” An heirloom varietal, the coffee is harvested from October to February by members of local villages. Only clean high-grade coffees are placed onto raised beds where they dry for 12-20 days, before being hand-turned and picked over to ensure perfection.
Kayon Mountain Farm is owned and operated by the Esmael family. By purchasing this coffee, you are directly supporting the 240-hectare plot and the lives of those who steward it. Try Strawberry Fields today and experience the majesty of Ethiopia in your cup while supplies last!
