Returning to our roasters is our favorite Parainema from Honduras, but this time with a new look - meet Cherry Cherry. Make your mouth water with the juicy tasting notes of fresh tart cherry, mango, and grapefruit in this single origin produced by our friend, Benjamin Paz.
This is our third time sourcing a Honduran Parainema from Paz, whose passion, expertise, and commitment to farmers has elevated him to celebrity status in specialty coffee markets around the world. These coffees were first grown in Honduras for their pest and disease resistance. However, Q Graders (coffee sommeliers) had never scored Parainema very highly during tastings. This was until Paz won the 2017 Honduras Cup of Excellence with the varietal, taking the specialty coffee world by surprise!
Previous coffees from this origin have been Soft Tropics and Love Buzz - both incredibly fruity and fan favorites. We’ve had many people ask for more, and this is the closest it gets to repeating a single origin.
